Greetings! 

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the forthcoming 7th World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition that will take place between December 4th and 7th, in Buenos Aires Argentina. Because we expect the attendance of doctors, dieticians and nurses from different parts of the world, we are preparing a program that will be creative and challenging for all. 

The motto we have chosen for this Congress is: “Integrating scientific knowledge for global equity”. An ambitious proposition.  To reach the level of excellence expected by those who regularly attend the meetings of the respective Societies, we have been working hard on the 17 main topics with the input of the representatives selected by the 6 participating Societies.  The spectrum of topics goes from breast-feeding to transition of adolescents to adult health care providers, from basic science to point of care. In the era of artificial intelligence, we still face challenges about environmental health and malnutrition that will be addressed.  We have a roster of excellent lecturers and chairs. On Wednesday we will have a Post Graduate course in English and one in Spanish/Portuguese, Hands-on endoscopy and motility, train the trainers on endoscopy. In addition, we have not less than 12 symposia sponsored by industry.  The World Congress will give participants a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and expertise in a global framework and at the same time be enriched with an amazing South American experience. 

Buenos Aires will receive you with great late spring weather. It is a multi-ethnic, multicultural city, with Spanish colonial and French architecture mix with local designs. The city has numerous museums, parks, and sports. The country has well known sites of natural beauty that will leave a longstanding impression on the visitors. In addition, it will be a great opportunity to taste our great food, watch and try tango dancing and our wines for those who enjoy them.
